INTERNATIONAL DAIRY CONGRESS.

Received September 19, 10.21 p.m ■ THE HAGUE, September 19.

The Hon. W. P. Reeves, High Commissioner for New Zealand, and the Hon. J. W. Taverner, AgentGeneral for Victoria, interviewed the Minister of Agriculture and discussed the question of legislation in connection with dairy matters. The Minister said he hoped that the British Committee's proposal for complete Government control of dairies would pass the Congress and so strengthen him to obtain similar legislation. The Congress later adopted a resolution advocating State control of dairies and dairy products.
