AUCKLAND HOSPITAL AND CHARITABLE AID BOARD.

By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, September 10. There is a movement for an enquiry into the financial methods of the Auckland Hospital and Charitable Aid Board. It is alleged that the institution is not being run on business lines, and 5 that it is too subservient in matters of expenditure to the medical staff, and is burdening itself financially to an undue and unwise extent. Several of the Borough Councils are convening special meetings to consider certain allegations as to extravagance that have been made.
