A COMPETITOR KILLED,

Signor Minoia won the Florio Cup in the International Motor Race of 300 miles, at Brescia, in the presence of 3 00,000 spectators, with a Scotta Franchini car. He covered the distance in 4 hours 30 minutes 43 seconds, averaging 105 kilometres per hour. Baron Martino, one of the competitors, was killed, and several others injured, two dying.
