ILLEGAL OPERATION.
A DOCTOR S CNTENCED

AUCKLAND, August 14.
Dr James Dalziell, practi ing at Pukekohe, was, at the Supreme Court, to-day, before Mr Justice Denniston, found guilty of performing an illegal operation at Auckland. The jury recommended the accused to mercy on of his age (60 years). His Honor sentenced the prisoner to four years' imprisonment, remarking that the sentence was much lighter than was ordinarily inflicted in such cases.
