IMPORTS AND EXPORTS.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, August 1. The imports to New Zealand during the quarter ending June 30th were to the value of £3,921,510, an increase of £988,727 over the figures for the corresponding period of 1906. The imports from the United Kingdom increased from £1,650,967 to £2,099,274. The exports for the quarter were valued at £4,841,983, an increase of £35,339. The shipments from the principal ports are given as follows: —Lyttelton, £872,609, Auckland £812,858, Wellington £708,652, Timam £404,233, Napier £376, SOS, Invercargill £370,881, Dunedin £354,927, Gisborne £207,078.
