CALLIOPE DOCK CASES.

By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, July 31. In connection with the Calliope Dock cases it is understood that notice of discontinuance will be entered in all the compensation cases against the Harbour Board. Advice was received to-day that the application for special costs against the Shaw Savill Company had been granted by Mr Justice Denniston. The total liability amounts to about £1,250. It is also understood that the Harbour Board will still have to pay a similar amount to meet the whole of their expenses.
