WEAKNESS IN CONSOLS.
Received July 31, 8.15 a.m. LONDON, July 30.. Financial papers attribute the weakness in Consols to the-absence of demand for low interest bearing securities. They declare that the public are beginning to realise the true value of Consols as an investment, and are no longer willing to take them unless they show a reasonable yield.
