HOCKEY.

A match was played at Lansdowne, on Saturday, between the Featherston ladies' team and a team of ladies from Masterton. The combined team had only seven players, and the visitors played one short. The game, which was not a very interesting one, resulted in a win for Featherston by four goals to nil. Tbe winners' goals were scored by Misses Cundy (2), L. Skippage, and I. Fuge. Mr J. King was referee.
