MASTERTON A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.

GENERAL COMMITTEE. The General Committee of the Masterton A. and P. Association met on Saturday afternoon. The President (Mr R. Gray) was in the chair, and there were also present—Messrs B. Rayner, R. Johnstone, D. McGregor, junr., Jas. McGregor, Joseph Morris, T. P. Lett, W. McKenzie, A. G. Pilmer, G. C. Summerell, J. P. Perry, J. D. Cruickshank, J. B. Moodie, W. Cooper, J. C. McKillop, D. Caselberg, and J. Mcßae. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs J. C. Cooper, F. C. Lewis, and R. J. Dagg. The following A. and P. Associations forwarded the dates of their shows:—: —Feilding, February 4th and sth, 1908; Canterbury, November 6th, 7th and Sfch, 1907; Nelson, November 26tn and 27th, 1907. The Finance Committee recommended that in future all privileges to members should be withheld until the current year's suubscz-iptions had been paid. The recommendation was approved. In order to carry out this recommendation MrSummerell stated that it would be necessary to alter the rules. He gave notice to move in this direction at a special meeting, to be held on Saturday next at 2 p m. The resignations of Messrs G. H. Jenkinsun and H. E. Nickless were accepted. The Secretary submitted an interim balance-sheet for the year ended June 30th. The receipts were set down as £3,020 Is Id and the expenditure £2,771 0s Sd, leaving a credit balance of £249 0s sd. The assets were shown to be £fi,993 0s 9d, and the liabilities £4,135 Is 9d. All the district representatives of the Association were re-nominated with the exception of Mr J. Wall, who has left Martinborough. Mr F. Perrv was nominated in place of Mr Waif. Mr J. Morris gave notice to move at the special meeting of the committee, on Saturday next, that the number of district representatives of the Society be increased.
