STOCK MARKET.

Messrs Dalgetv and Co., Ltd., report having held a very successful sale on Mr J. Edwards' farm, at Rongomai, on Thursday, 11th inst. In spite of the very bad weather a large number of settlers turned up from all parts of the district. Cows, considering the time of year, brought good prices, the average being £4 8s all round. Young horses unbroken from £4 to £ls 10s, trap horse to £2B, sows in pig to £2 17s, slips to 13s, fowls 2s 2d to 3s Id per pair, ducks 4s, geese 5s 2d per pair, buggy £2O 10s. Harness, traps and furniture all brought fair prices.
