OBITUARY.
SIR ALFRED BILLSON. Received July 10, 9.55 p.m. ; LONDON, July 10. Sir Alfred Billson, Liberal Member for North-west Staffordshire, fainted in the Division Lobby of the House of Commons, when about to vote on Mr H. Cox's motion re the sugar duties, and died half an hour later. It is believed that hemorrhage of the brain was the cause of death. His daughter was in the Ladies' Gallery at the time. The House immediately adjourn ed.
