THE SAN FRANCISCO FRAUDS.
SCHMITZ SENT TO GAOL. Received July 10, 8.35 a.m. NEW YORK, July 9. Eugene Schmitz, ex-Mayor of San Francisco, against whom charges of extensive fraud and bribery were brought, has been found guilty and sentenced to five years' imprisonment.
