RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION IN SCHOOLS.

The Ministers Association waited on the Wanganui School Committee last evening with a request that they be allowed to give religious instruction in schools for half-hour each week. The Committee granted the request conditionally upon a referendum of the parents being favourable.
