A CHARGE OF STEALING.
By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, July 8. A young man, named Robert Henry Woodhouse, was committed for trial, to-day, on a charge of stealing»£l22 6s 7d from the Christchurch Tramway Board. Woodhouse had been employed as a clerk in the Board's office, and the money which is alleged to have been stolen by him had been placed in one of the office drawers in readiness for paying the construction staff.
