WAIRARAPA HUNT CLUB.
(From Our Tinui Correspondent.) TINUI, July 1. The Wairarapa Hunt Club held a meet at Langdale on Saturday; last. The weather was perfect, and the country chosen for the "run" was most suitable. Unfortunately, there were several nasty accidents, which required Dr. Dawson's attention. The most regrettable one of the day happened to Mr B. Collerton before the run started. Mr Collerton had dismounted and was standing beside his horse fastening the girth, when one of the riders put his horse over a jump. The horse '.hen ran away, and suddenly bounding among the group of dismounted riders, struck" Mr Collerton and jammed him against his horse, with the result that Mr Collerton was so seriously injured that he had to be taken back to Tinui at once.
The Misses Morrison hospitably entertained the large number who attended the "meet" at afternoon tea at the Langdale Hall, and were heartily cheered for the kindness.
