RESIGNATION OF MUNICIPAL BODIES. Received June 14, 8.27 a.m. PARIS, June 13. The resignation of municipal bodies, which is part of the peasants' passive resistance campaign in the wine districts in South Prance, continues. Eight bodies have resigned. M. Clemenceau, Premier, holds that as the resignations require J a month's notice, they are irregular, and the municipal authorities are personally liable for damages for the consequences of the stoppage of their work.
