RAND MINERS' STRIKE.

APPEAL TO BRITISH LABOUR. Received June 14, 9.10 a.m. LONDON, June JL4. The Rand miners have asked Mr Ramsay Mac Donald, Labour member for Leicester, fcnd the members of the British Labour Party, to assist the strikers' with funds or to secure withdrawal of the troops from the Rand. The ground taken-up by the Rand miners is that without the soldiers the mjneowners would be unable to achieve their aims, as the employment of volunteers would lead to civil war, because many of the volunteers side with the strikers.
