WEDDINGS.
O'CONNOR—McHALE. At the Roman Catholic Church, Blenheim, yesterday, Mr Ivan O'Connor, second son of Mr Fergus O'Connor, of Masterton, was married to Miss Mary McHale, third daughter of Mr F.JMcHale, of Blenheim. The bride was given away by her father, and was attired ii. a handsome dress of cream embroidered silk, with the orthodox veil and orange blossoms. The bridesmaid was Miss Nellie McHale, sister of thejbride, who wore a becoming dress of white muslin. Mr W. King, of Masterton, was be3t man, and the ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Holly. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a gold watch and chain, and to the bridesmaid a gold chain and pendant. The honeymoon will be spent in Wellington, for which place the newly-wedded couple left in the afternoon. The bride's travelling dress was a tailor-made navy blue costume with white hat. HANNAY—MATTHEWS. At St. John's Church, Featherston, yesterday, Miss Freda Matthews, fourth daughter of Mr Alfred Matthews, of Waiorongomai, Western Lake, was married to Mr Alec Hannay, of Kahautara. The marriage ceremony was performed by the Rev. A. M. Johnson.
