"THE MIDNIGHT WEDDING" COMPANY.
Playgoers who still retain happy recollection's of the previous visit of Messrs Meynell and Gunn's famous "Fatal Wedding" Company, will hail with delight the announcement of their return to Masterton on Thursday, June 13th. at the Town Hall. Since the Company's previous visit in June of last year, it has Tbeen considerably strengthened by the addition of several important artists, amongst whom is Mr Harcourt Beatty, whose name was so lpng associated with Miss Nellie Stewart and the "SwQ"t Nell" Company. Mr Beatty returns after an absence of over 18 months, in a new role, which he has already made immensely popular in Australia,and the other New Zealand towns. The most important« production of the impending season is the new romantic military drama, "The Midnight Wedding," in'which Mr Beatty will appear in his original part of Paul Valmar. The box plan for the three nights' season will be opened at MiBS Rive's on Saturday morning next.
