MASTERTON v. DANNEVIRKE. Representatives of the Masterton and Dannevirke Clubs met at Dannevirke, yesterday, when Masterton won by 4 matches to 3. The results of the different matches (Masterton players Being mentioned first in each case) are as follow: — A. B. Lawrence beat N. Russell—3 up 2 to play. C. C. Cox beat E. Knight—6 up 4 to play. A. Bewley lost to Robin—2 down. W. Hj Robieson beat J. G. Newenham—6 up sto play. A. C. Major lost to J. Robertson—--2 down.
W. P. James beat G. Potts—l up. J. B. Henry lost to W. Herbert—6 down 5 to play.
A match (seven a-side) was played at Featherston, on Saturday last, between the Hutt and Featherston Clubs. The local team won by six games.
