HOCKEY.
A match will be played at Lansdowne, on Thursday afternoon, between teams selected by the ViceCaptain and Secretary of the Huia Club. The following are the teams: —Vice-Captain's Team—Misses M. Smith, H. Berry, E. Blomquist, F. Monk, W. Rayner, M. Wagg, F. Winzenberg, M. Hayes, L. Tildesley, E. Barr. Secretary's Team—Misses A. Hester, D. Ingram, D. La Roche, M. Fuller, D. Moore, G. Smith, R. Hooper, M. Morgan, E. von Keisen- / berg, V. Edwards. Play will commence at 2.45 o'clock. The team to represent the club in the Hughes Shield matches will be selected from those taking part in the match on Thursday.
TheW.F.CA.. team will play allcomers, at Lansdowne, on Thursday. The following will represent W.F.C.A,:— Long, Smith, Hall, Russell, Fairbrother, Richards, Whitt, Petersen, Pragnell, Minett and La Roche. The following other members are also requested to attend :—Scrimgeour, Fleming, Home, Dickson, Schubert, Kelly, A. Ralph, McFarlane, Daniel, Bush and Harding. The following team will represent the Kia Kaha Club in their match with Carterton A, at Carterton, tomorrow :—Truscott, Fraser, Gordon, Anderson, Donald, McLean, King, Williams, Hughes, Rue and Nixon. A match will be played on the Showgrounds, to-morrow afternoon, between the Garry Owen and Glengarry Clubs. ThejGlengarry Club will be represented by Misses K. McGregor, E. Devonport, W. Logan, A. Gardiner, A. Pyke, G. Gordon, I. McKenzie, F. Hood, M. McHattie, F. do Lisle and J. Evans.
