THE WELLINGTON TRAM FATALITY.
By Telegraph—Press Association. • WELLINGTON, May 4. An inquest was held, this afternoon, on the body of Mrs Eliza Bell,, the victim of the tram accident. The Coroner said it was his intention, in order to avoid, as far as possible, the risk of future accidents, to take all available evidence as to the cause of the accident. Dr. Hogg, who was called to the deceased, said he found she had sustained injuries to the skull, cheek. bones and. nose, fractures of the breastbone and the ribs of the left side. There was no doubt thai the; injuries were caused by the car fall-:, ing upon the deceased. The inquest was adjourned until Tuesday. ' ;' .
