LONDON WOOL SALES.
Received May 1, 10.10 p.m. LONDON, May 1. At the wool sales 9,609 bales were catalogued, including 7,189 from New Zealand, mostly inferior wools. There was a large attendance of buyers, and fair competition. Merinos are unchanged. Medium crossbreds declined 7J per cent., coarse 5 per cent., and fine from par to 5 per cent.
