WAIRARAPA HOCKEY ASSOCIATION.
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Wairarapa Hockey Association was held in Mr J. L. Hughes' rooms, yesterday afternoon. Mr E. Daniel presided, and there were delegates present from W.F.C.A., Carterton, Kia Kaha, United and Knox Clubs. /The report and balance-sheet were read and adopted. The balance-shee" showed a credit balance of 17s 6d. The election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mr'A. C. Major; Vice-Presidents, Messrs W. Moore, W. H. Jackson,. G. Williams and Rev. McColl; Secretary and Treasurer, Mr C. Carley; Match Committee, Messrs J. L. Hughes and J. Fisher, and Rev. A. T. Thompson; Postponement Committee, Messrs A. J. Fisher, A. C. Williams and S. Tripe; Vice-President to New Zealand Association, Mr W. E. Burley, of Lyttelton. v A committee was appointed to obtain jerseys for the use of the representative players this season. A vote of thanks was passed to Mr Hughes for the use of the room, and to Mr J. B. Rue, the retiring secretary.
