BESSES O' TH' BARN BAND.

Considerable enthusiasm is being manifested in Masterton in connection with the visit of the Besses o' th' Barn Band. Their opening concert will be given at the bhowgrounds, this afternoon, at 3 o clock. Concerts will be given in the Town Hall this evening and to-morrow evening at 8 o'clock. The Besses will be heard in concert programmes consisting of solos, duets, and other concerted numbers, in addition to their selections, overtures, and marches. Eight numbers are set down on the Besses' programme for a concert, but with the encores they more often play fourteen or fifteen pieces during the performance. The box plans are at Messrs McLeod and Young's, where tickets for the ground and stands for this afternoon may be purchased and also day-sale tickets for the evening performances.
