MASTERTON HOSPITAL.
MEETING OF TRUSTEES. The monthly meeting of the Trustees of the Masterton Hospital was held yesterday morning. There were present—Messrs J. A. Renall (chairman), J. C. F. W. H. Kummer, M. J. H. Jackson, and J. B. Keith. The Treasurer reported as follows: -Receipts, £1,805 12s 8d; expenditure, £1,699 10s; dr. balance at last meeting, £34 16s 6d; cr. balance at date, £7l 6s 2d. > Accounts amounting to £69 0s 10a were passed for payment. The Matron's diary showed that there had been eleven patients admitted to the Hospital during the month, and 16 had been discharged. There were 16 patients in the Hospital at last meeting, leaving 11 in the institution at present. Messrs Ewineton and Keith were appointed a committee to assist the Secretary in connection with the collection of fees owing. . A letter was received from the District Hospital Board stating B that the estimates of the Trustees for the ensuing year had been approved of by the Board. The annual balance -sheet showed that the receipts had been £3,497 10s 10d, with £5,147 18s 2d carried forward from last. year. The expenditure had been £5,746 9s 4d, leaving a credit balance of £2,898 19s Sd. The balance of assets over liabilities was £3,058 8s lOd. __ Messrs Hogg, Ewington and Keitn were appointed a cuxiimitttu to furnish the new Hospital.
