INVERCARGILL NEWS.
By Telegraph—Press Association. INVERCARGILL, April 15. Thomas Rankin, a donkeyman on the Moeraki, had a thumb caught in a winch, to-day, and pulled off at the second joint. He was medically treated, and went on to his home in Dunedin. An enquiry into the Waipahi railway collision was held, on Thursday, and the evidence has been forwarded to the General Manager at Wellington.
