The cattle entries were limited, a i'air number of growing stuers ui.a ycung cattle offering, all of which iuund a ready market at sound races, rat ewes made 13s 9d, forwaiu iivw lit. 6d, breeding ewes (according; to ago and quality) had a range irum i;ta to 10s ,t'or medium sorts, culls bd L)d, first class woolly lambs 12s 3d, good lambs 10s to 10s 6d, others '.)*, 8s lid, 8s Gd, small 4s 9d, 2-tooth rams 2gns, 3-year steers 70s to i)os, 2 to 2|-year steers 60s to 665, good cows up to 70s, calves 8s to 12s.
