AUCKLAND, March 4
Mr Sproule, New Zealand manager of the Oceanic Company, states that the Sierra and Ventura are to be laid up in San Francisco for overhaul — probably for three months. He anticipates that when this is completed the boats will be able to maintain regular time-table service. The time to London will then be shortened by quick passages by the new Cunarders, which will be running in a few months.
