LONDON TALLOW MARKET. Received February 14, 8.52 a.m. LONDON, February 13. At the tallow auction 684 casks were offered and 219 were sold. Fine mutton realised 39s 3d, medium 35s 6d; fine beef 37s 6d, medium 35s per cwt.

Prime oaten sheaf chaff £4 5s per ton at rails, market firm. Potatoes £6 10s per ton. Onions, Sydney, £6 10s per ton. Butter, separ - ator BJd, dairy pats 8d per lb. Eggs, fresh, Is 5d per dozen, brisk enquiries. Honey, 60's, 4id-per lb, good demand. Porkers, 60's to 100's, 4d to 4£d per lb. Bacon, sides 7d, hams Bd, rolls 8d per lb. Cabbage 4s 6d to 5s per sack. Carrots, table, 6d per dozen. Marrows 2s 6d to 5s per dozen. Tomatoes 3s per half case. Plums 4s per half case. Nectarines 4s 6d per half case. Cooking apples 4s per case, dessert apples 6s per case. Peaches 4s per half case. Poultry—Table roosters 4s, cockerels 4s 6d to ss, table hens 3s, chicks 2s 6d, ducks 4s, geese ss, all at per pair. Turkey gobblers lOd, hens Bd, live weight.
