STOCK MARKET.

MASTERTON STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their Masterton sale, held in their Waipoua Yards, on Wednesday, as follows:—More sheep came forward than were advertised, over 5,000 being yarded. There was a large attendance of the public, but owing to the drought bidding was slack for inferior lines. All good lines sold under the hammer at full market values. We quote:—Rape lambs from 9s 7d to 9s lOd, culls to Ss, good lines ewes to 14s sd, medium ewes to 9s 6d, culls to Bs, 2-tooth wethers medium quality, to 14s, fat ewes to 14s 3d. Very few cattle came forward, meeting with a dull sale. Fat cows £6.
