TINUI.
(From Our Own Correspondent), Monday. A large congregation assembled at the Anglican Church, yesterday, to hear the dedication of memorial window service, to the memory of the late Mr Charles Peach. The beautiful stained glass window is a. gift to the church from Mrs Wilson and Miss Peach. The late Mr Peach, who has been dead for many years, was an old and highly respected settler here. The Eev. J. H. Sykes preached an able and appropriate sermon. A largely-attended meeting was held here on Saturday last, and it was decided to hold an unregistered race meeting on March 30th, on Mr W. Liverton's property, Rewanui, Carswells, in a paddock kindly lent for the occasion by Mr Liverton. Judging by the keen interest that is being taken in the venture, it promises to be a..great success.
