A WAIHI CASE.

By Telegraph—Press Association. WAIHI, February 11. Judgment in the case of the Mining Inspector v. the Waihi Goldmining Company and John Henderson, assistant engineer, for alleged negligence in cutting off air from the aircompressing engine, thereby causing the death of a miner and serious injury to another, was given, to-day, by Warden Bush. Both defendants were convicted of negligence and fined, the Company £5 and Henderson £ls with costs £6 each.
