GLADSTONE.
(From Our Own Correpsondent.) GLADSTONE, Thursday. A very pretty, wedding, which was of considerable interest to Gladstone people, was solemnised at the residence of Mr and Mrs R. Mold on Wednesday last, the contracting parties being Miss Laura Mold, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs Mold, and Mr Thos. Rosyth, late of Masterton. The wedding ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. Bates, of Carterton. The bride looked handsome in a dress of white crepe de chine, with maltese lace trimmings, and the usual veil and orange blossoms. Mr George Mold, brother of the bride, gave her away, and Mr E. Sexton acted as groomsman. The bridesmaid was Miss Daisy Campion, of Christchurch, who was becomingly attired in a pretty flowered muslin, trimmed with valciennes lace, and a picture hat to match. The bride's travelling costume was of blue cloth with a pretty floral hat. Mr and Mrs Rosyth left for Masterton to catch the'express to Wellington, where the honeymoon will be spent. Harvesting operations are almost completed now, and the average yield is fully equal to last season, and in a good many places much better.
