The following fixture was omitted from the list, published yesterday, of matches to be played in the Henderson Cup Senior Competition: —March 7th and 14th, W.F.C.A. v. Carlton A, on No. 1 wicket; Star A, a bye. SATURDAY CHAMPIONSHIP. ' The Eketahuna-Masterton B match will be resumed on the Oval, on Saturday next. ' The Carterton-Mas-terton A match has again been postponed as the former club's ground is still in an unfinished state. THE ENGLISH TEAM'S TOUR. By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 24. The Canterbury Cricket Association has recommended to the committee of the New Zealand Cricket Council that the English cricketers should play the first test match with New Zealand at Christchurch on February 28th, March Ist, 2nd and 3rd, starting each day at 2 p.m., in order to give the shop assistants an opportunity to see the visitors play.
