The Canterbury Cricket Association has recommended to the committee of the New Zealand Cricket Council that the English cricketers should play the first test match with New Zealand at Christchurch on February 28th, March Ist, 2nd and 3rd, starting each day at 2 p.m., in order to give the shop assistants an opportunity to see the visitors play.
