The New Zealand International Chess Congress was resumed, to-day, when the 18th round was continued, with the following results: —Parker beat Gilford, Favi-es beat Rummer, Pleasants beat James, Viner beat Grierson". Viner v. B. Mason, drawn after four sittings lasting ten hours. Nineteenth round.—Forsyth beat Kelling, Davies beat Sexton, Mason beat; Edwards, Rummer beat Parker, J. Mason beat Pleasants, Stewart beat James, Cummings beat Gould, Barnes v. Gifford drawn, Sainsbury v Grierson, drawn. Grierson beat Kelling in the 17th round.
