The schools of the Empire rifle competition was won by the Rugby Softool, with a total of 476 points. Brisbane was fifeenth with 416; Wanganui eighteenth, 442; Marlborough twenty-second, 440; Wellington twenty-third, 438, Wesley College, Melbourne, thirtieth, 427; Cheltenham, Victoria, thirty-first, 427; Scotch College, Melbourne, thirty-fifth, 422; .nrmidale, New South Wales, thirty-sixth, 420.
Hilton College, Natal, won the junior match with a suore of 427. Ipswich School, Queensland, was eleventh, 338 points; King's School, Parramatta/sisteentb, 303; Wesley School, Melbourne, seventeenth, 293.
