SKIPPING DISASTERS.
A LINER STRANDED,
CAPTAIN COMMITS SUICIDE. Reueivert December 19, 8.43 a.m. NEW YORK, December 38. The Hamburg American liner Prinzesain Victoria Luise, with no pilot aboard is stranded near Port Royal, in Jamaioa. The captaiu committed suicide, by shooting himself w»th a revolver. The passengers and all the crew succeeded in landing safely.
A EELGI'AJN STEAMEK SUNK. twelve op the grew DROWNED. Reoeived December 19, 8.50 a.m. LONDON, December 18. The hull of the steamer Arlington collided with and sank the Jbtalgiau steamer Capjuby, off Dungene&s, daring a fog. Twelve of the Oapjuby's crew were drowned.
