THE PAPAKAIO MURDER.

The trial of John Findlay for the murder of William Hay Rennie, eohoolnihster, afc Papakaio, on Ootober 3td, was commeuced in the Supreme Oourt this morning. The Grown Prosecutor, in open ing the oase, said it rested largely upon presumptive evidenae. Ilia epeeoh in outlining the facts in possession of tht, police, occupied aq'honr and threequaiters. Evidence for the proseoution was not ootocleted when the Oourt rose for the day.
