TAYLOR-CARRINGTON COMPANY.
"LONDON LIFE."
The Tayior-Carrington Company brought a successful two nights' season to a close in the Town Hall, last evening, when there was another large audience. The piece staged was "JUondon Life," which is full of interest from the rise to tbe fall of the .curtain. It abounds in many sensational and emotional scenes. The caste was a strong oue, and every character was in capable hands and well sustained. Mr Edward Green acted the part of Dr Mephine in a capable manner. Mr Charles Taylor, as Charlie Mason, tbe Cockney carpenter, was a host in himself, and kept the bouse in roars of laughter. Misa Elta Carrington, as Marian Eldred, had a part that suited her well, and she did full justice to it. Her aoting all through was of a high order, und she was warmly applauded. Mr Ward Lyons carried out the role of George Eldred, the drunkard, well, while Mr H. Nightr ingaie, as Walter Grey, was good. The part nf Lady Waldegrave was well sustained by Miss Muriel Muiton, arid Miss Minnie Lancaster made a good Lottie Jotieu. The staging of the piece was excellent. The company intend paying a return visit to Masterton in about three monthe.
