SEAMEN AND EMPLOYERS.
• RUMOURS OF PENDING TROUBLE. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, October 26. There are persistent rumours of pending trouble between seamen and employers in consequence of a recent award of tin Arbitration Court. It is stated that a certain number of seamen intend, next week, to give individual notice to commanders of steamers that they desire to sign off from their ships. If this is carried into effect and substitutes could not be seoured, the vessels losing senmen would be unable to tn'oceed to sea.
