RECENT LAND SALES.
Messrs Mackay and Whishaw, land, stock, and station agents, having dissolved partnership, the bnsinees will in future be carried on by Messrs Whishaw and Co., with offices at Masterton and Wellington. The late firm were most successful in effecting land sales, the most recent being Mr Hammond Murray's Awapiripiri Station, containing 3,800 acres, and Mr Jas. Wall's property at Martin borough, consisting of 3,000 acres, to Mr Banish, late of Wellington, and also Mr Viokers' property at Stratford, of 1,500 aorea. Wellington property to the value of £50,000 was, also, disposed of by the firm. Mr W. M. Whishaw will manage the new firm, and his headquarters will be at Masterton. Messrs Whishaw arid Co. announce on page 8 in this morning's issue that, having made special arrangements, they are in a position to finance clients from £SOO to £50,000 at 5 per cent, on good freehold security.
