MEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP.

In the Men's Championship A. B. liawienoe defeated A. C. Major, 6

ap, 5 to play, and A. Bewley won from D. Donald, i ap, 2 to play, in the semi finals. The final will be played between Lawrence andJßewley during this week.

LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP,

In the semi-finals Miss J. Rofoieson defeated Miss Kobleson, 7up and 5 to play; while Miss Gower lost to Miss E. Robieson, 4 down, 3 to play. Misses J. and E. Kobieson will play off in the final.

The second grade Medal Handicap (36-faole match) was won by P. W. Fish with a net score of 2(J4 (handicap G). The competitions for this season will close on Saturday next when a "reverse" medal match will be flayed for a prize given by the captain, Mr A. B. Lawrenoe.

In the Art round ot the golf championship. Gillies (New South Wales) leads with 169. F. Hood atid O'Brion (New South Wales) tied for second place. Received October 14, 5.13 p.m. SYDNEY, October 14. The golf tournament couoluded to-day. in the open golf championship C. Cl»rke (New South Wales,) carried off first honours, with a score of 322, Soutar (New South Wales) was second with 327, P. Bood with 329 filling third flace.

WESTPORT, October 13.

The golf championships of the West Coast were played, to-day, and were won by Mr Hoitbu (men) and Miss Kettlu (ladies)—both of Greymouth.
