PRINCE HOHENLOHE'S REVELATIONS
GERMANY STUPEFIED
Received Ootober 14, 4.32 p'm. BERLIN, October 13. Prince Hohenlohe's indiscreet; revelations have stupefied Germany. It is considered that they will discredit Germany's diplomatic methods when Bhe is seeking her own ends. The Kaiser is fuiious. though his personal reputation, except for waywardness, is not discredited. There is a suspicion that the revelations are due to an intrigue to damage the Kaiser. (The publication by Prince Alexander Hohenlohe of the memoirs of tbe late Prince Hohenlohe (German Chancellor), giving the reasons why Prince Bismarck resigned the (Jhannellorship in 1890, has created an indisoribable sensation on the Continent. It is considered that Prince Alexander has committed au astonishing indisorelion. The memoirs relate that whea he visited the Empress Frederick in 1888 she told hm that Herr Herbert Bismarck / (eldest son of Prince Bismarck) had had the impudence to tell the Prince of Wales (now King Edward) tbat thß Emperor was unable to talk, and was really incapable of ruling. The Prince of Wales told the Empress that if be had not attached importance to the maintenance of good relations with Germany be would have thrown Herr Bismarok out of the room. At a later stage the Prince of Wales spoke guardedly to Prince Hohenlohe, expressma disgust at the rudeness of both Prince Bismarok and his son).
