EGG-LAYING.
UTILITY CLUB'S COMPETITION. By Telegraph—Press Association. OHRISTOIIUECH, Ootober ]. During the week ending September 28th, 1.906, 2,048 eggs wero laid by the birds in the Utility Poultry Club's second Egg-laying Competition at Lincoln College, making the total to date 17,333. The highest totals for the week were:— M. Blanch, Silver Wyandottes 35 W. B. Cowlishaw, Buff Orpingtons 34 Alexandra Poultry Co., White Plymouth Rooks 33 The best totals to date are:— M. Blanch, Silver Wyandottes 412 J. Ashton, Silver Wyandottes . 394 F. O'Brien, Silver Wyandottes 354 H. Walton, White Orpingtons 319
