A PAINFUL ACCIDENT.
By Telegraph—Press Association. CARTERTON, October 1. At Featherston, yesterday, a young man, named George Bowring, turned a hose on a companion who olesed with him. In the struggle the nozzle forced out Bowriug's right eye, whiuh was hanging on the cheek. The viotitr was removed to the Wellington Hospital.
