THE DEUTSCHE REVUE'S ARTICLE.
LONDON, September 7
The Deutsche Revue's statement that Britain had two alternative policies towards Germany—one of Anglo-French counterpoise, which might easily prove disastrous, and the other of including Germany within the circle of her friendship—is warmly resented in several of the British papers. The Beilin correspondent of The Times states that the Deutsche Revue's tentative suggestions did not reoeive any encouragement, offloia! or semi-official, in Britain. Sir Edward Grey's policy, says the correspondent, is essentially the same as Lord Lansdown-j's.
