Mr Winston Obnrobill, UnderSeoretary for the Colonies, writing to Mr Greenwood, a member of the House of Commons, who is travelling in Canada, asks him to try and convince Canadians that the Conservatives do not monopolise the interest in Imperialism. The advent of the Liberals, says Mr Winston Ohnrohill, did not mean the weakening of British affection for the colonies or lessen the belief in the ultimate aim of a solid, defensive league—viz., free demooratio communities animated by love, peace and justice under the leadership of the Crown.
