A SERIES O* 1 RESOLUTIONS. LONDON, September 7. The Trade* Union Congress, whioh is sitting at Liverpool, haa passed resolutions demanding a minimum wage of thirty shillings for forty-eight hours a week for Government employees in the London district, and urging Parliament to nationalise railroads, canals, mines and minerals.
it was also deoided to ask Sir Henry Oampbell-Banuerman to introduce legislation exempting workmen's goods from seizure for rent up to the value of twenty pounds.

The Congress instructed the Parliamentary Committee to secure legislation abolishing systematic overtime and empowering publio administrative bodies to issue their own credit notes, thus obtaining cheaper money. It :.;was resolved that it was desirable ILat municipalities should be empowered to conduct any work or business, and that no Workmen's Compensation Act will be satisfactory unless workmen are allowed to commute by a lump sum like employers.
