INSURGENTS DEFEATED. Received August 29, 8.40 a.m. HAVANA, August 2S. The Cuban troops defeated the insurgents near Oeiufuegos, killing 17. All tli 9 insurgents, excepting Gueirn, the ex-Congressman, who whs reported to have a following of over 2,000, have signified their willingness to disband if they are guaranteed immunity from punishment.
